What we do not do
- We do not publish sponsored content, paid placements, or advertorials. The site is free to read. A Google AdSense application is pending, so no advertising is currently served.
- We do not accept payment for story coverage, sources, or interview access.
- We do not break news. Other outlets will beat us to every developing story. We aim to add context and analysis instead.
- We do not publish unverified claims. Every quantitative assertion in an article links to a public source.
- We do not publish user-generated comments on articles. If you want a point of view added to a piece, the corrections address above is the channel — good reader arguments regularly lead to revisions.

Response times & what to include
To help us reply faster, please include in your message:
- The article URL when your message is about a specific piece.
- Public source links whenever you are flagging a factual dispute.
- Your name and (optional) affiliation — we do not require this for factual corrections, but it speeds verification.
If your message concerns something unrelated to Luminesca News — for example, the games, tools or travel properties — please indicate so in the subject line so we can route it to the right team.
Reporting an error, step by step
Corrections are the most useful mail we receive, and a precise report gets fixed fastest. The process: send the article URL, quote or describe the specific claim you believe is wrong, and — if you can — link the public source that contradicts it. We check the claim against the sources cited in the article first, then against your source. If you are right, we correct the text and add a visible correction note for material errors; if the original text was defensible but unclear, we rewrite the passage so the next reader is not misled either.
You do not need to be an expert to file a correction. A reader who noticed that a date, name or figure looked wrong has already done the hard part. Anonymous reports are fine, though leaving a contact address helps if we need one clarifying detail.
Privacy of what you send us
Messages are read by the site operator and used only to fix or improve the site. We do not add readers to mailing lists, we do not share addresses with advertisers, and we do not publish private correspondence. If your report results in a correction, the published note credits the fix rather than naming you, unless you explicitly ask to be thanked.
